Ankle Injuries by Fujiya & Miyagi

Get the album, Transparent Things

Fujiya & Miyagi is an English band formed in Brighton in 2000. The band is comprised of David Best, lead singer, who is also part of the duo Omega Male, Steve Lewis, Matt Hainsby and Lee Adams. Their music is heavily influenced by Krautrock bands Can and Neu! as well as the 1990s electronic music artist Aphex Twin, and as you may have guessed or speculated at, the band’s name did come from a character in The Karate Kid.

The cool animated dice music video, for the song “Ankle Injuries,” off their Transparent Things album was directed by Wade Shotter for Factory Films, and the tedious animation was made by Yukfoo and Wade.
