Glory Box by Portishead
I’m still not for sure how the song, Glory Box by Portishead came up in conversation the other day, but I’m glad it did. This such an amazing song.
Portishead is a band formed in 1991 in Bristol, England. The band is named after the nearby town of the same name, 8 miles west of Bristol. Portishead consists of Geoff Barrow, Beth Gibbons, and Adrian Utley, while sometimes citing a fourth member, Dave McDonald, an engineer on Dummy and Portishead.
There has been talk from Barrow, stating in a Rolling Stone interview, that the band plans on getting back into the studio and recording more songs, but I feel as though we may be waiting for a ridiculously long time. I still, however, look forward to hearing more from this great band.
