Ten Accidentally Vegan Super Bowl Snacks

Greasy junk food and snacks are quickly being bought from stores and prepared for the Super Bowl that will air later today. The usual main dishes at parties aren’t always vegetarian or vegan, but a lot of the snacks are unintentionally made without animal products. The majority of the choices are not the healthiest options, but they can be considered as options for vegans nonetheless.

Here is a list of ten accidentally vegan snacks:

1-5. Ruffles Original Potato Chips, Lay’s Potato Chips (barbecue and plain), Kettle Brand Potato Chips (sea salt and vinegar), Fritos, and Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili–Flavored Tortilla Chips

Peel and mash up a couple of avocados in a medium serving bowl and then stir in some diced onion, garlic and tomato. Add a little lime juice, salt and pepper and then chill the guacamole for half an hour to blend flavors. Serve it alongside your all of your chips.

6. Nabisco Oreo Cookies

Get some shredded Daiya cheese here.

Easy. Just set these out on the table.

7. Ritz Crackers

Ritz Crackers always go well with slices of vegan cheese. Set some Daiya out to pair with this vegan snack.

8. Wheat Thins

Slices of Daiya, or some Follow Your Heart vegan cream cheese will go great with Wheat Thins.

9. Mission Flour Tortillas

Add some Daiya cheese inside a warm tortillas for a vegan quesadilla.

10. Thomas’ New York–Style Bagels (plain, everything, and blueberry)

Add vegan marinara sauce and sprinkle some Daiya cheese on plain or everything bagels and pop them in the oven at 300 degrees until the cheese it fully melted. Serve them right away.
